Removal and replacement of flooring that has been worn by traffic, incurred water damage, termite damage etc, using age and species appropriate flooring to match existing floor.

Dutchmen Example #1
Technique applied when flooring has been worn down past the surface groove of tounge & groove flooring. Cuts are made in flooring to remove damaged tounge & groove. Strips of age and species appropriate flooring are milled to fit the gaps, installed, sanded, and finished. Client - Private Residence
Job Description: Sand and refinish of 1930's antique long leaf pine with dutchmen. Extensive bracing and joist replacement. Floor Area: Approx. 2100 sq. ft. Installation: 1930's pier and beam flooring nailed to joists Wood Species: This particular floor is antique long leaf pine; the client selected common yellow pine to accentuate the dutchmen, however, age and species appropriate dutchmen blend to match the existing floor.
